Wes' Wish Holiday Support

We partner with local business leaders, individuals, and organizations in the collection of toys and other items for the month of November. During this time, community members are able to drop off donations at these participating locations across Hampton Roads. These items are then distributed to local pediatric cancer families during the Christmas Holiday period. Parents are able to "shop" on us for all of their children, free from worry about the financial burden that often comes with the holidays. 

New in 2025: We now have added a teen/tween adoption program allowing individuals/families/businesses to adopt those who are often overlooked for the holidays!

All of this began in 2011, because 5 year old Wes Pak, who had just been diagnosed with neuroblastoma himself, wanted to give all of his toys away to the other children at clinic fighting alongside him. Thus, the toy drive was born. What started with just 5 little red wagons filled with toys has now grown to be able to help many families across Hampton Roads. Wes continued to help collect, sort, and deliver toys to CHKD up until he passed away in 2018. We carry on the toy drive in his memory.
