Protecting our most precious resources - our children and our wildlife
Protecting our most precious resources - our children and our wildlife
Did you know that 80% of marine pollution comes from land-based sources?
Did you know that 6.5 million tons of litter enter the world's oceans each year?
Did you know worldwide, 100,000 marine mammals and turtles are killed annually by plastic litter?
Wes' final wish was to inspire others to keep our waters clean and save the wildlife. It is our mission to keep his legacy alive. Let The Wes Strong Foundation know that you too are #InspiredByWes. Plan your own #InspiredByWes clean-up in your community. Notify us of your upcoming event, and we will share it on social media. Be sure to let us know your findings once the event has passed. With your help, we can make it a global movement so our animals no longer have to suffer. Let's make a difference!

The Wes Strong Foundation represents who Wes was and what he loved. Since it is our mission to carry out his legacy, we also strive to support the environment and the wildlife that lives within it. In addition to grants, we also collect commonly used and greatly needed supplies for the local wildlife rehabbers of Hampton Roads all year round. These individuals are licensed volunteers who rescue, rehabilitate, and release wildlife in our area.
